Of course as soon as my doctors tell me everything is fine and dandy, I start having roughly a kajillion contractions. Never quite to the return-to-hospital guideline, not enough (supposedly) to be cause for medical concern, but enough to make me and everyone around me a little jumpy. I stand up, I have a contraction. I sit down, I have a contraction. Therefore I am returning a little closer to my bedrest lifestyle in order to minimize all of that. So, blech. And... blech.
What I want to know, is down the road when I'm with a group of women telling their labor war stories, am I allowed to say that I was in labor with Helen for x number of weeks? Because surely all of this should count for something.
